Folowing the Christmas weekend to view the decorations and the Museum’s open house, the Museum is closed for the season. See you in the spring!
Enchanted evening at the Museum
It was an exciting evening from the very start! Attendees not only got to view models displaying clothing from various stores as well the Muesem’s clothing collection, but the also enjoyed mocktails, wine and hors d’oeuvres!

Drawing for 2024 Raffle

Cemetery Walk
On Saturday, October 26, Mr. Marvin lead a tour of some of the parts of Old Mission Cemetery. During the tour, he pointed out interesting facts about the symbolism on some of the stones, and about some of the fasinating personalities buried there.
Veterans’ Day Display
From Friday, November 8th through Monday, November 11, The Wyandot County Museum had a unique display of military items including uniforms, newspapers, pictures, and even items brought back from Japan following World War II. Many of the items on display during this time are not normally on display.
2024 Ice Cream Social

Wedding Desses and Plate Show at Overland Inn.
On June 8 & 9, The Overland Inn was ready for a wedding!! Antique wedding gowns and crystal table settings were on display. There were many gorgeous gowns and elaborate crystal table settings from the collection of Brian Long for visitors to view.
December Fashion Show
Our fashion show was a great success and a very enjoyable evening. The picture here is of some of our models, each holding a sign saying where their clothing came from. Five boutiques were represented as well as clothing from the museum’s Artz collection.
Christmas Open House
Hundreds of people came and enjoyed the beautiful Christmas open house at the museum. With over 40 decorated Christmas trees, many Nativities, and decorations over the whole museum, it was truly fantastic. Santa was even there one evening!
