During the open houses at the Museum, visitors could view over 30 decorated Christmas trees as well as the beautifully decorated home. There were even refreshments and free candy canes. This year even Santa Claus came for a visit!
The museum celebrated Veterans’ day with a display of military uniforms and memorabilia from various time periods in U.S. history. The drawing for the guns was held on November 11. Rose Bowers was the winner of the Kimble and Gavin Pike was the winner of the rifle. Congratulations to both!

On Saturday, October 16, Mr. Marvin gave a very interesting and informative talk as we walked through the Oak Hill cemetery. He gave histories of some of the people buried there and noted information about some of the symbols on the stones.
