The Anderson General Store was a former store located in McCutchenville. It used to be on the corner by the Plank Road Restaurant and Tavern, the former location now serves as the restaurant’s parking lot. It was transplanted behind the Overland Inn in the early 2000’s. The general store had set empty for many years and has been used to store collection items for the Overland Inn. At present, the building has been converted to an old time general store with many interesting displays. Within the next 5 years, the plan is to apply for restoration grants to restore the Anderson General Store building and to add to the displays located within the general store.
